José "Pepito" Gómez has taken the U.S. by storm since his May 2008 arrival from Cuba He has two New York Times rave reviews, received an award from France, has a worldwide fan base .

His popularity all over the world was highlighted by sold-out venues like Italy’s 5000-seat Club La Tropical.  Fiestacubana.net’s 2007 best male singer also received an award in Cuba for his song on environmental awareness, “Tiempo Dificiles.” His tenor voice, both beautiful and strong, has a unique timbre rarely found. 

Recent shows included the prestigious Fillmore Jackie Gleason theater in Miami and Yoshi’s Jazz club in Oakland, CA.
